When does a topic become HOT! Does it depend on number of posts or moderators mark something hot or something else?
Also waht is "link forum"?

Oh cool but I heard lastly those codes are different. Compiled binary files are supposed to be different but note the source. A binary file created in linux environment cannot usually be run in windows environment. Perhaps you heared something like that. And also I tried to use some C++ coding on l...

What did you use in Windows? There is a big possibility that thats also available in Ubuntu.
If you did not use anything, then what language are you trying? If C/C++, I think codeblocks should work.

If you are in Ubuntu (or some other gnome environment) you may have used gedit as a text editor. But for sure most of you do not know its an wonderful IDE for almost all languages.
