Some students are visiting a stable.At a certain time,it was counted that there are $71$ heads and $228$ legs were there.How many students were there at the time of counting?

Suppose there are only $1$ student,then we will get $282$ legs.
That means extra $(282-228)=54$ legs.To equalize according the question we need to add $27$ students so,there were $28$ students at the time of counting.
