Geometry Note

আমি লক্ষ করছি অসুস্থ হলেই আমার কেন জানি আমার লিখতে ইচ্ছা করে। শুয়ে থাকা ছাড়া কিছু করার থাকে না তো এইজন্য মনে হয়। আগের বার অসুখের সময় লিখেছিলাম কনগ্রুয়েন্স নিয়ে। এইবার লেখা হইল জিওমেট্রি নিয়ে।
মতামত জানায়েন। মানে ভাষা কঠিন হইল কিনা, বা যে প্রবলেমগুলা ইউজ করসি সেইগুলা বেশি কঠিন হয়ে গেছে কিনা এইসব আরকি। আর কারও জানামতে কোন সুন্দর প্রবলেম থাকলে জানায়েন, নোটে ঢুকিয়ে দেব।

Thanks a lot for the post...I am reading in the same class as u do...but u have vast knowledge in mathematics...so i want some help from u. I have some unanswered questions,which i want from u.They are enlisted below.Plz help me sir.

1.About how to approach in solving a geometry...which basic things i need to know first?
2. Mahi vai told me to complete Geometry Revisited, but i don't even understand the first thing of that book which is the extended law of sines...my teachers also can not help me in this matter.What type of strategy can i use to understand them?
3.I have almost hundred of books related to IMO..but which books i need to complete first(I am a bit confused in this matter)
4.I have your father's number too, if u give me permission i can talk to you if u kindly help me about how to proceed as my teacher.
5.Is there anything through which i can understand Geometry Revisited book's problem as well as other book's problem related question based on geometry?

Summary:Allover I need some strategy to help me understand problems especially IMO related problems as well as national based math problem.

Sorry for the prolonged question.I am very much excited to get the best answer of my questions as no one did!

১। আগে নাইন টেন পর্যন্ত ক্লাসের গণিত বইগুলির জ্যামিতির অংশটুকু শেষ করো। শেষ করা মানে শুধু চোখ বুলিয়ে যাওয়া না, ভালো ভাবে শেষ করা। সব এক্সট্রা নিজে নিজে করতে হবে-মানে অন্তত চেষ্টা করতে হবে। এরপর Geometry Revisited বা অন্যান্য যা কিছু। আর এই বইটার একটা বাংলা অনুবাদ পাওয়া যায় বাজারে নাম-জ্যামিতির দ্বিতীয় পাঠ। ওইটা ট্রাই দিয়ে দেখতে পার।
আর একটা জিনিস বলি। আমার এই নোটটা তাদের জন্য উপযোগী যারা নাইন-টেন পর্যন্ত পাঠ্যবইয়ের জ্যামিতিতে ভালো দখল রাখে। আমি একটা জিনিস দেখাতে চেয়েছি যে শুধু ওইটুকু জ্যামিতি শিখলেও অনেক আন্তর্জাতিক মানের সমস্যা করা সম্ভব।

২। সৌমিত্রদা একটা নোট লিখেছিল। নেটে কই যে রাখসিল এখন মনে নাই। ওইটা বেশ ভালো। Geometry Revisited-এর পাশাপাশি ওইটা পড়তে পার। খুব সহজ ভাষায় লেখা। বুঝার জন্য টিচারের দরকার হয় না।

৩। কাম সারছে!!! এত বই! আমার নিজেরও এতগুলা নাই। শুরুতে পড়ার জন্য The Art & Craft of Problem Solving, Geo. Revisited, Plane Euclidean Geo, Problem Solving Strategies, 104 NT Problems... এইগুলা ভালো, মানে আমার মতে। সৌরভদা, মাহি ভাই কই আপনারা? এরা এইসব ভালো বুঝে।

৪। আমার বাবার নাম্বার নিয়া লাভ নাই। বাবা থাকে ঢাকা, আমি ময়মনসিংহ। আমার নিজের মোবাইল নাই। মার নাম্বার নিতে পার। চাইলে পিএম করতে পারি।

৫। এর উত্তর দুইয়ে দেওয়া হইসে।

সামারির উত্তর: আইএমও লেভেলের প্রশ্নের জন্য আইএমও কম্পেন্ডিয়ামের বিকল্প নাই। ন্যাশনালের জন্য জুয়েল ভাই, অভিকদারা একটা বটিকা বাইর করসে- গণিত অলিম্পিয়াডের যত প্রশ্ন। ওইটা ট্রাই মারতে পার। এর বেশি কিছু আমি জানি না।
এডিট: ও, সরি, জানি। নিউরনে অনুরণন, নিউরনে আবার অনুরণন, অলিম্পিয়াড সমগ্র এই বইগুলাও ভালো।

Adib Bhai if you have time can you please translate your note in English. Students like me, coming from English medium background find geometry very difficult as our curriculam has very little geometry. And your note is indecipherable for me due to the language barrier.

There are many good books in english, as I mentioned above. I wrote that note for those students who can't go up with the english books (and frequently complain to me about it.)
