solving way aljebric of and trigonmetric equation

Is there any general way to solve mixed algebraic and trigonometric equation like this:
3tan(x+3)=x
SinX-cosX=(X^2)*a Where X is variable
I repeat I need a general way

You can't. But numerical answers can be found using methods from numerical analysis.
