I won't suggest doing very old IMO problems (except you are doing it for fun!). I mean IMO problems are very different now than those; so doing IMO problem before 1990 is almost unhelpful.

Actually IMO $1988$ $P6$ is one of the most hardest problems of IMO .I had seen a wrong solution in a bangla book and thought that it is easy.
