Why are all the stars, planets round in shape ? There are so many shapes in the Universe such as square , rectangle, triangle . But all the planets, stars are round in shape. Why did this happen ?
Yesterday is past, tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift.

Re: Round in Shape
The short answer is, each and every particle in this universe tries to be potential-less.
When you think about things like stars, planets, natural satellites, think about the gravitation force that is working. everything wants to go to the centre, as mush as possible. If they were in cubic shape, the edges would have more distance to the centre, than the other sides.
Not only that, these things are moving, trying to move in a circular motion as much as possible. So, they try to have the same ratio.
That is why, most of the things are spherical

\[\sum_{k=0}^{n-1}e^{\frac{2 \pi i k}{n}}=0\]
