can somebody give me a little advice?
shd i teach them a little bit of combi?(although i am not an xpert at it)
in case of number theory,shd trial n error method b permitted if the range of numbers is not big?

2. Certainly. But you have to decide how much you'll teach them depending on their level.
3. If you can find solution, any reasonable way is permitted.

hmm. Reasonable! If i say from the pix i get that the $\angle\,is\, 60^\circ$? Just kidding!!
