Gravitation
As far as I know, gravitational force reacts upon light. So is there any effect of this reaction if we are watching Venus or Neptune?

Re: Gravitation
SANZEED wrote:As far as I know,gravitational force reacts upon light. So is there any effect of this reaction if we are watching Venus or Neptune?

I don't think it's not only the earth's mass which will fact. There are other planets as well.

Re: Gravitation

Re: Gravitation
Who said only earth's mass will effect?Other planets will also do so, at least theoretically. But as I said before, it's too small to measure.SANZEED wrote:I don't think it's not only the earth's mass which will fact. There are other planets as well.

Re: Gravitation
the measure was $1.72^{\circ}$,whereas theoretically it was $1.75^{\circ}$ .Phlembac Adib Hasan wrote:তবে সূর্য কিন্তু কিছুটা বাঁকাতে পারে।

That's why it gave a practical proof of G.T.R.SANZEED wrote:the measure was $1.72^{\circ}$,whereas theoretically it was $1.75^{\circ}$ .Phlembac Adib Hasan wrote:তবে সূর্য কিন্তু কিছুটা বাঁকাতে পারে।

Re: Gravitation
Yes. I know about two other practical proofs: the perihilion passage of Mercury, and most probably another is related to Dopler effect.

Yes, I know. But that proof was the first one.

Re: Gravitation
I know that. Two groups of scientists measured the angle, one from Brazil, I think.the leader was Arther Eddington. But I read Einstein in his book. He gave them in this serial: 1st Mercury, then gravitation, then Dopler.
